The meeting in Gijón marked the fourth time all Consortium partners came together, hosted by SERIDA – Regional Agrifood Research and Development Service.
The assembly facilitated many productive discussions.
An update was provided on all the technologies, including their current progress and the upcoming releases. This covered the latest developments, milestones achieved so far, and the plans for the next stages of the project, ensuring all partners were aligned on the project’s technological advancements.
Given the co-creative approach GUARDIANS promotes, all partners engaged in meaningful discussions regarding cross-role activities in the pilots that will be implemented soon.
Additionally, all partners had the opportunity to visit the SERIDA testbed plots where the first tests of GUARDIANS technologies were conducted. SERIDA has been providing the necessary facilities and support for running critical tests during these 18 months of the project. This testbed phase allowed technology providers to see firsthand the practical application of the technologies and collect the initial results from the testing phase, which will be crucial in the upcoming months for the implementation in the real pilots.
With a strong commitment to the project’s success, all partners took an active role and celebrated the significant progress achieved in the last eighteen months.
This General Assembly served as an essential opportunity for in-person collaboration, bringing together all aspects of the research and enhancing the overall impact of GUARDIANS.
