Following the successful development and testing of the project’s solutions in pilot settings, GUARDIANS is now moving into a critical stage in which technologies will be replicated and assessed under different operational conditions. This phase will allow partners to further validate the robustness, adaptability and scalability of the project’s tools and methodologies in real-world scenarios beyond the original pilots.
Alongside technical developments, a dedicated discussion also focused on the concept of a One-Stop-Shop as a potential enabler to support the uptake and scalability of the developed solutions. Partners engaged in a guided exchange to identify the main barriers that currently hinder wider adoption, including lack of awareness, limited skills, insufficient capacity building, and broader gaps in knowledge.
The meeting also marked the beginning of a stronger focus on dissemination activities and communication of project results. To support this effort, the second day of the meeting included a dedicated dissemination workshop aimed at helping all consortium partners better understand their role in communicating project achievements.
As part of the programme, a visit to a digital urban vineyard at the Politecnico di Torino offered partners insight into a social and technological initiative combining vineyard monitoring technologies with a strong focus on social impact and urban sustainability.
With replication activities now underway and dissemination efforts accelerating, the consortium is entering an important phase that will shape the project’s legacy and contribute to the broader adoption of innovative solutions developed within GUARDIANS.
