After the success of the first season of the Farm Stories series, the GUARDIANS project is glad to launch Season 2: Technologies in the field!, a new set of interviews that takes a step further into the realities of on-farm innovation.

While Farm Stories – Season 1 focused on farmers’ expectations and initial motivations for joining the project, this new chapter shifts the perspective towards real-world experience and results.

This time, we bring together farmers and technology providers in a series of joint interviews, offering a more complete and dynamic view of the innovation journey within the GUARDIANS pilots.

Over the past months, innovative solutions have been tested across pilot farms involved in the GUARDIANS project. Through these new interviews, we revisit the starting point (the expectations) and compare them with what actually happened during the implementation and testing phases. What worked as planned? What required adaptation? What lessons emerged along the way?

One of the key novelties of Farm Stories Season 2: Technologies in the Field! is its dialogue-based format.

By bringing together both sides of the collaboration, the interviews highlight how solutions were integrated into daily farm activities, the challenges encountered during real-life application and the mutual learning process between farmers and technology providers

This dual perspective allows us to better understand not only the performance of the technologies, but also the importance of collaboration and co-creation in driving innovation in agriculture.

The interviews also explore the tangible benefits observed so far through real examples of how the technology made a difference in their daily work.

Stay tuned as we publish each interview and discover how innovation performs where it matters most: in the field!
